The Youth Council has launched a subsidy program aimed at youth associations and groups in the municipality.
This was announced today responsible for youth issues in the Consistory caravaqueño, Antonia M ª Álvarez, who explained that this financial support aimed priority to support projects designed to promote activity in youth groups, thus fulfilling the obligation government to promote free and effective participation of youth in the political, social and economic development.
The mayor has been accompanied by the Youth Technical Donate Mari Carmen and Juan Aznar.
The City Council has allocated a € 18,000 to these grants, an amount that will go to various initiatives in cultural, social, educational or leisure which are within an annual program or a specific program of activities.
Specifically, the grant may be the following types of activities: socio-cultural programs, entertainment and leisure, activities to promote participation and youth associations, and in general, all projects are within the scope of performance of the Youth Council.
They may be beneficiaries of subsidies youth associations incorporated under the provisions of existing legislation and registered in the Municipal Register of Public Associations, youth wings of adult duly constituted authorities, youth groups whose members are aged between 14 and 30 years to promote subsidized activities and organizations providing youth services incorporated under the laws in force that are irrelevant for profit.
The call was published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia on Friday, October 10, the date from which stipulates a period of 30 days to enable interested parties to submit their applications according to the bases governing call.
On October 24 at 19.00 there will be a briefing on the subsidy program on the premises of the Youth Centre.
