The regional government has authorized a grant of EUR 1,384,000 to the city of Caravaca de la Cruz to continue construction of a residence for dependents and a day center.

The City will provide 462,297 euros, so that the total project cost amounts to 1,846,296 euros.

Caravaca City Council in 2007 began construction of a building with three floors and basement, located in the Camino de las Fuentes-El Copo, for the continuing care of people with disabilities in situations of severe functional dependence.

The ground floor will host a nature center geriatric day for up to 45 users, while the upper floors will house the residence to provide comprehensive care for people experiencing severe functional dependence, with 50 seats.
