The regional government has approved a grant of six million euros to the city of Caravaca de la Cruz to undertake the construction of the second phase of the multipurpose center of Culture, which will give this city of a stage adequate to meet cultural and artistic demands.

This is a multidisciplinary center that will have an auditorium with capacity for 1,000 spectators, conference rooms, library, archive and parking.

The total project cost of 8,990,000 euros, of which the Community of Murcia provides six million euros and the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, 2,990,800 euros, both in annual amounts ranging from 2008 to 2012.
