The restoration and craft come together in the second edition of Pilgrim's Market, which begins its second season this Sunday with the celebration of the crafts.
The new season will feature approximately 30 artisans and collaboration of the hospitality association, the Northwest and Rio Mula.
Some of the hotels in the city will launch the initiative "The Basking dish, which consists in offering every third Sunday of the month a typical recipe for the Northwest Region.
The new season of Pilgrim's Market has been presented at a press conference by the Councillor for Tourism and Celebrations, Gonzalo López-Auguy, the president of the Association of Artisans, Angel Miñano, and the president of the hospitality association, the Northwest and Mula River, Jesús Giménez, who have advanced the planning for the next six months.
The market is held under different titles as "The market for children", "The day of honey", "Land Day", "The day of the crafts" and "The spring market."
In addition, we have added new features such as "Noah's Ark", a corner where children can learn traditional crafts.
The president of the artisans Murcia, Angel Miñano, has said that the success of this market lies in the parallel activities and children's workshops, as well as the quality of craft products offered.
"The key to success is that the City has made a clear commitment to craftsmanship and youth," he said.
For its part, the president of the hoteliers caravaqueños said the offer of "Plato's Pilgrim" is a way to encourage the hospitality of the town and at the same time to recover recipes typical of this area.
During the Sunday morning of the Plaza del Arco will host free workshops metal casting, jewelry making, soap making, makeup and child painting.
The Pilgrim's Plate this Sunday will be chosen for the "friends with advantages."
