An outdoor stand, located in the access to the pavilions, will display the city's tourist resources
The Holy Year 2010 will feature prominently in the twenty-ninth edition of International Tourism Fair (FITUR) to be held in Madrid next week.
The tourism in Caravaca de la Cruz will be exhibiting at booth within the Murcia Tourist and also in a preferential area located in the entrance to the halls with a booth dedicated exclusively to the Holy Year 2010.
The area responsible for Tourism in the city of Caravaca, Gonzalo López-Auguy, highlighted the effort made in the next edition of Caravaca de Fitur to promote her coming Jubilee event.
"We will have a stand outside in the hallway for access to the various pavilions, a preferential area through which passes most of the thousands of visitors who flock to what is considered the most important tourism fair in the world" reported.
One of the great innovations of FITUR will be the premiere of "The Pilgrim", new characters designed to promote the Holy Year 2010.
The characters (Mr. Pérez Grino, Margarita del Camino, Pacón compete, Mari Cruz, Brother and Sister Devoto Road) travel during part of 2009 and 2010 by different municipalities of the Region of Murcia, Alicante and Albacete with a view to promoting and Caravaca pilgrimage routes that reach the city.
Moreover, according to López-Auguy words, will be released in comic book starring these characters for dissemination in schools Murcia: "The painter and cartoonist, a scholar at the Royal Academy of Alfonso X the Wise, Alvaro Pena, and is working on design of the vignettes, creating a funny story and public addressed child will thread the Greenway and the various municipalities located in its path. "
Moreover, Caravaca occupy one of the six themed rooms that make up the stand dedicated to the Region of Murcia.
In this specific room, cutting-edge design, are projected still and moving images in all the walls to make the viewer imagine what can be found at the destination.
Finally, the municipality has also been included in tourist routes in the region that will be located on the second floor of the stand.
The Region of Murcia has opted this year to be at the forefront of design.
This has projected a place based primarily on the application of concepts and architectural space, achieving an attractive, modern producer.
The stand offers a tour around several intimate spaces which are intended to interact with the public, offering an alternative view on the peculiarities of the region.
The objective of the Ministry of Culture focuses on the idea of exposing a way Murcia nearest modern experiential, based on its essential element: the sun.
