The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, has now reviewed the 33 projects submitted by the City of Caravaca the Local Investment Fund worth more than four and a half million euros.
Among the most outstanding in terms of budget concerns, highlighting the renovations Barranda Main Street and the Avenue of the platforms, the construction of sports complex costumes El Salvador and the beautification plan of parks and gardens.
Aranda has assessed positively the creation of the Local Investment Fund because it represents an economic boost for local councils and a way to generate employment on a temporary basis, but has stated that the municipal funding should not be a measure of other circumstantial and should be maintained over time.
The mayor has reported that some of the projects already are under contract and within approximately one month should be running all the competitions work.
"A job for the development of these works, we must add those projects created with tourist lodges in El Llano and La Almudema with funding from the region and the Multifunctional Cultural Center, the latter the largest municipal project with a budget of 12 million euros ", he stressed.
Over the next few months in the municipality will materialize works valued at more than 14 million and a half euros.
Among the works financed by the State Fund are projects like cleaning up the avenue Miguel Espinosa, the arrangement of several streets in the village center and districts, development of rural roads and improvements in lighting.
"We wanted to include other projects such as upgrading the environment of the source of The Royos, an innovative idea to allow recovery of an exceptional site, the enhancement of the path of launderers like a pilgrimage routes to the city and the adequacy of Las Fuentes del Marqués to add more value to this place so dear to all caravaqueños, "said Aranda Sunday.
