Bars and restaurants in Caravaca de la Cruz will participate from Saturday at "The path of the top", an initiative promoted by the Department of Tourism and Celebrations of the City of Caravaca and hospitality association, the Northwest and with the collaboration Mula Cajamurcia Foundation, The Renas and Star Lift.
In total there will be twelve catering establishments that offer tapas and sugarcane at the price of 2 euros for the period between 28 February and 29 August.
The City Council has published 10,000 leaflets in which the names and photographs of the four caps offered by each of the premises along with a map where "pilgrims" will indicate the route of the Path of the Cap.
The Councillor for Tourism and Celebrations, Gonzalo López-Auguy, today launched this initiative with the president of the Hospitality Association, Jesús Giménez, and businessman Alfonso Cobarro.
The mayor expressed his gratitude to all participating bars and restaurants that have received this proposal forward to cooking, offering elaborate four covers a popular price.
Also, Gonzalo López-Auguy has stated that "The path of the top" will contribute to the promotion of our cuisine, "and we're sure will be many people who visit our city to see our range of tapas."
Participants in the path of the cover will be given a booklet that will be stamped at the various premises and depositing upon completion in a few mailboxes to enter the weekly draw for a weekend full board accommodation in a rural.
