The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, met with President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation Angel Maria Villar, to establish channels for cooperation with the Holy Year 2010.
During the meeting they discussed the possibility of holding sports activities and to carry out various promotional and sponsorship for the next Holy Year.
"We want the regional federations and national soccer team to become part of the programming of the Holy Year, and thus ensure the involvement of sports figures and coaches," said Sunday Aranda, who has positively assessed the response by the president of the Spanish Football Federation.
Currently, both institutions are finalizing the terms of the agreement and specific actions to be included in the partnership agreement.
