The City Council held on Friday, April 3, from 11.00 an extraordinary plenary session to mark the 30th anniversary celebration of the first democratic municipal elections.
Thus, the Consistory caravaqueño adds, with the consensus of various political groups, the proposal made from the Spanish Federation of Municipalities to remember those elections as the real beginning of the great political transformation, social and economic of Spain and starting point for the longest period of progress and living in freedom in our history.
In the House will proceed to the reading of an institutional statement and open speaking time for the three speakers.
"We want to invite this House to all persons who have represented the neighbors with dedication and responsibility as part of the municipal corporation in the last three decades, and all caravaqueños who wish to accompany us," remarked the Mayor a press conference this morning.
The mayor explained that in the plenary session will review the outstanding chapters in the history of the town and talk about what they have meant 30 years of democratic life and the future challenges faced by local authorities.
