The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has awarded grants to youth groups in the municipality to promote and support actions to foster participation and stimulate the functioning of groups formed by young people.
The councilman of Youth, Antonia M ª Álvarez, and the Councillor for Finance, Salvador Gomez, have been delivered the checks to representatives of seven youth organizations based in the town and several villages.
"We have funded a number of important partnerships, as it was the first year that these grants were convened in our town and many of these groups had never applied for assistance to the administration, said the charge of Youth in the City of Caravaca , Antonia Maria Alvarez.
The council added that it "is one of the measures being carried out from City Hall to promote the actual partition to create partnerships and entertainment options designed by young people themselves."
For his part, Councillor for Finance highlighted the progress made in recent years have occurred in the municipality in terms of youth, with resources such as the Youth Center and programs like the Young Caravaca.
The City Council has eleven thousand euros distributed between youth associations Quipar Valley, Almost Ná, SWAT, Barranda, Lan Party, El Salvador and youth section of the Sports Association Singla.
Grants have been awarded on the basis of annual programs and specific programs of activities presented associations.
