A group of public school students in San Francisco de Caravaca been visiting the CEAM (Center for Agroecology and Environment of Murcia) in the awareness campaign on climate change that is developing the school.
This school awareness program has enjoyed the cooperation of the Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca.
From the San Francisco school report that the objective of this campaign is to develop environmental awareness in children through the collective involvement of all in order to modify behavior and consumption habits, thus reaching the promotion of sustainable development.
In total, the CEAMA attended by a total of 29 students in the third year of primary school, accompanied by two teachers.
"This awareness campaign tour consisted of thematic paths Center for Agroecology and Environment of Murcia (CEAMA), the screening of a documentary on the impact of climate change focuses on postgraduate students of primary and delivering a tutorial on CD-Rom, brochures, posters and stickers.
During the visit to CEAMA, children were in situ the possibilities that exist today to protect our land and entertaining way what they can do to combat their destruction, "said the school secretary, Federico Navarro.
