The Councillor for Environment, Antonia M ª Álvarez, today introduced two points of underground containers for the collection located in the plazas of Egido and the House of Culture has announced the upcoming installation of three new points in the square Elliptical , Garden of the Friars and Cartagena street with a budget of EUR 120,000 funded by the Directorate General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control.
María Antonia Álvarez explained that with the placement of these new containers for paper, cardboard, glass base plates and improves accessibility, hygiene and aesthetics of the city, while the citizen is encouraged to separate waste collection.
The mayor reported that the EcoPark Mobile has collected in its first month of operation over 700 kilos of waste disposed by 300 users of the town and the various districts.
