Caravaca is preparing to celebrate in 2010 the Jubilee Year, which is why the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer John Paul II, with the sponsorship of the Caja del Mediterráneo (CAM), organized a volunteer training course Jubilee framed Summer University of the UCAM.
Preceded by past experience the Jubilee Year in 2003, the course, which incorporates key aspects of volunteering with theoretical and practical preparation, its main objective the training of volunteers who will collaborate in the Jubilee Year of Caravaca.
Attendees will learn not only general principles of volunteerism and charity, but also will enter into the memory and identity of Caravaca de la Cruz, in the aspects involved in the Jubilee year, and this pilgrimage routes.
The course also includes practical principles on volunteering, physical training, organization of spaces, first aid and care for the disabled.
