Carmen Paris will perform this Saturday, August 22, from 22.30 at the Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda in the cycle "A Barranda moon."
The singer will present his third album, incubator, a job with a strong influence of Cuban music, which has been awarded "Best Fusion Album" in the XIII edition of the Spanish Music Awards.
Carmen Paris style is characterized by the fusion of various styles such as the Aragon Jota, Flamenco, Andalusian music and jazz.
The composer and performer he has surrounded himself throughout his career is Jazz and flamenco musicians like Chano Domínguez, Guillermo McGuill and Javier Colina, with whom he recorded the original version of 'Pa'mi genius', a model that was much more than that: it was a hard fact and law that opened the doors to his first recording contract.
Cycle programming "A Barranda Moon" is filled with concerts paying tribute to José Antonio Martínez Meca "The Point", August 29, and Mari Trini, on 5 September.
