Caravaca City Council offers a total of 70 seats in computer courses and ordenografía aimed at the general population aged 16 years.
The courses, organized by the Local Employment Center for Women, will last two months and are taught in the classroom of new technologies of the House of Culture Emilio Sáez.
About 1,000 people have taken part in these courses in their various calls since 2002.
This training offer is aimed at facilitating access to and use of new information technologies and communication, with hours compatible with family responsibilities, thus contributing to reducing the digital divide.
The novelty of the academic year 2009-2010 is that, in addition to computer courses and ordenografía in three levels of difficulty, we have included one on the management of the spreadsheet program Microsoft Excel for 40 hours.
To participate in any of the courses offered must fill out the registration form, available from the Local Employment Center for Women (on street poet Ibanez) and web pages www.ayto-caravaca.org and www.caravaca.org .
