About 150 athletes, from several Spanish provinces, place next Saturday, October 19, the XXII Milla Urbana de Caravaca de la Cruz.

Runners will complete a distance of 1,609 meters on the Gran Via, the city's main artery.

Testing will begin at 20.30 starting and finishing in the Plaza del Arco.

From the Department of Sports include "the high turnout and the level of our local athletes in different categories."

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of absolute proof and trophies for top three male and female in each category, plus trophies for the local finishers.

The award ceremony will take place at the end of the sporting event in the hall of the City Council.
