The last meeting of local government has approved the final award of the construction of the Centre for Women in Caravaca de la Cruz to the company Sarco SA for an amount of 509,240 euros.
The center, which will be located on Calle Pedro Campos, next to the garden of The Cejo, will bring together in one place the various municipal services that are provided from the Department of Women as those related to the Center of Services for Women Victims of Violence Gender, the Local Employment Centre or the Equality Authority.
The center will have different units such as a computer room and three rooms for holding workshops and training courses.
The project also includes offices for entrepreneurs and associations and an auditorium with capacity for 75 people.
