With a budget of 207,000 euros, the Department of Works and Services of the City of Caravaca has begun the second phase of the refurbishment of the Avenue of the platforms, in the section between the streets and Mayrena Doctor Robles.
This second phase included in the Municipal Plan of Works and Services (POS), will focus on the complete renovation of the pavements on the basis of paving and the installation of new street furniture, among other tasks.
In those proceedings Works and Services Plan, we must add the works already completed the renovation project and infrastructure networks funded through the Local Investment Fund with 530,000 euros.
Through the implementation of projects of the Works and Services Plan and the Local Investment Fund, amounting to a total investment of 737,000 euros, is to comprehensively reshape one of the main entrances to the city, so far presented a state of deterioration with regard to paving and sewage systems and drinking water.
In addition, street furniture will expand and create a new pedestrian crossing with traffic light regulation to improve road safety and quality of life for residents of that neighborhood.
