The Governing Council has approved a grant of 55,740 euros to the city of Caravaca de la Cruz and for various works of adaptation in the Real Alcázar Santuario de la Vera Cruz, declared a matter of cultural monument.

The aim is to prepare for the Holy Year Jubilee next year.

The works involve the creation of a room access for pilgrims and the enlargement of the toilet area, for which it will conduct the excavation of the interior of the Castle esplanade next to the right of the entrance tower.

Likewise, the works include the replacement of the ladder and the network connection to the network of general sanitation of the city, and the network of stormwater collection and transfer facilities rush.
