Thuillier theater Caravaca de la Cruz hosts tomorrow, Saturday 21 November, the Conference on Gender Violence "Voice of Silence", which is expected to involve 400 women of various nationalities.
This conference is organized at the initiative of the Association of Hispanic women in the Region of Murcia with the support of the Institute for Women and Women's councils of the municipalities of Caravaca and Molina de Segura.
During this conference speakers and abused analyze the set of actions implemented by various actors to address and prevent gender violence.
The organizers point out that domestic violence is emerging as the ultimate expression of gender inequality, and as a phenomenon that must have the involvement of all stakeholders to give due attention to victims and to prevent and raise awareness.
The conference will take place from 10.00 to 20.30 and will include the participation of 6 speakers and performances by folkloric groups.
The opening will be at 10.15 by the mayor, Domingo Aranda Councilwoman Women, Carmen Ruiz, and President of the Association of Hispanic American Women Murcia, Liliana del Castillo.
