The Ombudsman in the Region of Murcia, José Pablo Ruiz Abellán, visited Caravaca de la Cruz to raise awareness of the institution you head and make it more accessible to citizens.
The City of Caravaca, through the signing of an agreement, has pledged to cooperate with the Ombudsman in resolving conflicts and handling the problems presented by the residents through the Single Window.
Ruiz Abellán has offered a press conference, accompanied by the mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, in which he explained that his primary mission is to investigate those complaints from citizens regarding government and make recommendations to relevant agencies to achieve improved public services.
"My priority task is to defend the rights and freedoms of citizens by overseeing the work of government," said the Ombudsman in the Region of Murcia.
Any citizen can go to the Ombudsman for the Region of Murcia filing a complaint if it considers that its relationship with government have been violated his rights under the Constitution.
In addition to acting for the existence of a complaint signed individually or collectively, the Ombudsman may also initiate proceedings ex officio, a reality to consider that may be affected or violated individual or collective rights of citizens.
