Tomorrow, Friday January 15, at 21 pm in the Church of El Salvador Caravaca de la Cruz, Jumilla Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Leonardo Martinez, Discantus Choir, directed by Angel Luis Carrillo, will perform a selection Handel's Messiah, in programming Cajamurcia the Foundation has organized on the occasion of the Jubilee Year in this county.

The religious-themed music will be starring in the cultural program prepared Cajamurcia Foundation to commemorate the Holy Year in Caravaca de la Cruz and includes two more concerts also take place at the Church in El Salvador.
In March sounds of Mozart's Requiem by Jumilla Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Nicholas Galvez, and the Coral Discantus, while the closing concert of this series will take place in October with the Symphony Orchestra of the Region Murcia directed by José Miguel Rodilla.

The program launched by the Foundation Cajamurcia, in addition to the celebration of this musical cycle, the implementation of an Information Office of Caravaca de la Cruz in the Plaza Belluga of Murcia, which has already been visited by thousands people.
Are scheduled also two exhibitions: the 18th of January to March, the Church of the Society of Jesus in Caravaca de la Cruz will host the exhibit "Silence and Art.
Paintings on religious themes in the work of Ramón Gaya ", which will coincide with the commemoration of the centenary of the painter in Murcia.
And between May and July, the Centro Cultural Las Claras Cajamurcia in Murcia, will host the exhibition "City convent" that show the uniqueness of the history of monastic life and its impact on Spanish life.
Also intended to raise awareness of the rich historical, cultural and natural Caravaca de la Cruz, Cajamurcia Foundation has published the book "Caravaca, land of light" with text by Christopher Belda, Professor of History of Art University de Murcia, Antonio Martínez Mengual watercolors, and photographs of Joaquin Zamora, José Hernández Pina and Paloma Zamora.
