The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, and La Union, Francisco M.
Barnabas, have signed this morning a document establishing avenues of collaboration to promote the Holy Year 2010 and the Festival del Cante de las Minas.
The agreement includes the implementation of various measures such as exchange of information between the tourist offices in both municipalities, the installation on Flamingo Avenue tourist stand Caravaca coinciding with the celebration of the festival and making a pilgrimage on foot Mass Mining.
The two mayors have agreed that this agreement binds the Holy Year 2010, the most significant event this year is hosting the Region, and the Festival del Cante de las Minas, the largest cultural event held in Murcia few ".
"These are the two flagships of the Murcia region," said Francisco M.
Barnabas.
With these agreements demonstrates that the Holy Year of Caravaca is an event that involves the whole region of Murcia.
To date they have signed agreements related to the Holy Year the municipalities of Cartagena, Lorca, Alguazas, Ulea, Granja de Rocamora, Abanilla, Cehegín and La Union.
