The mayor has highlighted the profound influence of the True Cross in the life of caravaqueños
Caravaca de la Cruz will be the true epicenter of the social, cultural, and religious tourism in the Region of Murcia.
This has been assured by the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Pedro Alberto Cruz, during the presentation of the Holy Year 2010 at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (FITUR).
Along with the Minister, have spoken of the Jubilee of Caravaca the mayor, Domingo Aranda, the minister of Economy and Finance, Inmaculada García, the government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael Gonzalez, and older brother to the Confraternity of la Cruz, Jose Luis Castillo, in an act that has had a massive presence of public and media.
Aranda Sunday has highlighted the profound influence that Vera Cruz has had on the city throughout history.
"It takes eight years with us and has deeply influenced the lives of caravaqueños" he said.
All have agreed that this year Caravaca is the main attraction of the region.

The characters responsible for promoting the Holy Year have distributed gifts to all attendees and have danced on stage to the sound of the musical that they star.
