Innkeepers Association of Caravaca, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and Celebrations of the City of Caravaca, will launch the second year running from January 29 to March 29 the Path of Cap.
The initiative has been launched today by the Councillor for Tourism, Gonzalo López-Auguy, the president of the Association of Innkeepers, Jesús Giménez, and the representative of the winery Viña Elena, Juan Ochando.
A total of 12 bars and local restaurants will participate in the Path of the cover, preparing a cover and drink for the price of two euros.
Participants in the path of the cover will be given a primer to seal in the various locations and enter to win a trip to Rome for four days for two with all expenses paid.
"The implication of the hoteliers of Caravaca is essential for proper development of the Holy Year 2010, which is why we are working on several joint initiatives such as the Path of the cover and the Dish of the Pilgrim," reported the owner of the area of Tourism.
The City Council has published 10,000 leaflets in which the names and photographs of the two covers offered by each of the premises along with a map where "pilgrims" will indicate the route of the Path of the Cap.
These brochures will be delivered in bars and other tourist information.
