This group has already warned City, about a year ago, the problems would worsen because of the expansion work of the Clinic located near the Orchard Road ride, especially traffic, due to the lack of parking in the vicinity, by the narrowness of the streets and clogging of the buildings.

So much so that both service vehicles such as ambulances and individuals are used part of this ride (which is traffic) compared to that clinic for both loading and unloading, to park and in any case to move about in it, with the great danger, as well as deterioration, this is for the ride, especially for children who normally play in that area.

Therefore, at the time we request that the extension of that clinic should be accompanied by a minimum of space for parking within its own plot, which remain under the General Plan, this has not been produced today, even though that enlargement is already fully operational for several months.

As expected, traffic is collapsing at certain times through the narrow back streets, to which is added there is no parking area for ambulances and service vehicles.

They are so many complaints that have sent the locals, as these have passed the City Council, both orally and in writing, to no avail so far.

However, the next plenary session is the final approval of an amendment to the road adjacent to the green area of Orchard Road, amendment which will allow private gardens maintained as existing terraced houses overlooking the promenade, rather than that is listed as a public road, which seems correct.

The problem is that our claims have been rejected this amendment so that in turn is a comprehensive solution to the problem of traffic in this area, as we noted.

For this reason, as stated by Alfonso Sanchez, in addition to denouncing the inaction of local officials, we will request the issuance of a technical report and traffic on the situation in question, as well as compliance with the ban on driving or parking in the walk, the opening of a parking area within the plot of that clinic, and an amendment to the General Plan for the adequacy of the road next to it.
