With the dual aim of providing new services and benefits to young people of Caravaca and encourage consumption of local establishments, the city of Caravaca de la Cruz has created the Youth Club Caravaca.
The mayor, Domingo Aranda, accompanied by the councilman of Youth, Antonia M ª Álvarez, today announced a pioneering initiative in the municipality to which all young people can join caravaqueños aged 14 to 30 years.
Aranda said that "in modern times is interesting and necessary to join efforts to provide all young people access to goods and services."
Youth Club members Caravaca will benefit a number of economic benefits and discounts on various services offered by both public and private entities, as well as in stores.
Institutions and establishments shall freely both the discount rate, never being less than 10% as the type of service or product offered.
All establishments belonging to this new initiative promoted the Youth Council will be identified with the logo of the Youth Club.
The Youth Club is now enjoying well received by businessmen and traders.
"We have established driving schools discounts of up to 60%, textile shops and drugstores, among others.

Both young people and as institutions interested in joining the club should go to the offices of the Youth Centre where they will receive detailed information about all the conditions and benefits.
The license price is 5 euros for a period of two years.
