IU spokesman LV + Caravaca, Juan Berbell, has filed a motion to the next plenary session by asking the council to give up the privatization of home help, to understand that social resource to be managed from the public.
Berbell has said the government team, the PP has decided to entrust the management of that service to a private company, which makes it a benefit "to the logic of profit", which will result in "precarious and temporary employment, above the social good. "
He assured that the municipality caravaqueño has "sufficient" ability to service management home help without resorting to privatization, while noting that "what is missing is a desire and political will to carry it out."
"Let this resource in the hands of a private business is turning into pure basic rights of citizenship and leave out of municipal control," he said, emphasizing that social services are "essential" to combat inequality.
It has therefore requested the establishment of a commission of experts, trade unions, political groups and associations to study the needs of the municipality in this regard and the Council of Social Services to coordinate the recruitment of personnel for service delivery.
