On Saturday April 10, 2010, was held in Spain Duathlon Championships in trial mode, in the beautiful and impressive resort town of Segovia.
Christ Garcia, Carrico, Sebas April, Guijarro, Tudela town and moved to this city to represent the triathlon club in the competition Caravaca highest club level in the national scene, all these were a technical approach by the club triathlon Caravaca, with reference to previous classifications in the regional league duathlon.
The race lasted from 10.30 am on the first team that came up around 19:00 pm I get the last teams out every minute and a half from the impressive aqueduct of Segovia, leaving this race a unique setting.
Caravaca Triathlon Club took out at 16:58 hours, facing a first segement of 5klm walk, then take the bike, make 20klm and finally re-run 2.5 klm walk.
The complexity of this test in time trial mode is that they have to go all team members together and can not spread among them more than 30''because if they would be disqualified.
The run was very tough with two hills to the square of Segovia, which is the cathedral of the same and two steps below the aqueduct, with a profile very hard to walk.
The bike was no deviation from the road to Valladolid and Segovia rise to Hostel, this is further complicated by the strong wind blowing on the rise in the road of Valladolid, making this very hard climb.
The last foot race took place on the same circuit as the first transition on foot.
Triathlon Club members gave Caravaca face at all times, marking one of the first 5 partial foot on the first segment on foot, but lost a bit in the cycling industry with some teams that had a potential cyclist to admire, with excilistas former professionals, such as Almagro etc. ..
Finally got the fourteenth since entering the top 15 at the elite level and hobnobbing with multidisciplinary professional sport.
Making a special mention as this more than worthy and involving a total of 133 teams at all of Spain, so getting this job was not easy, triathlon club members say there was much more level than last year because in just one minute (58) entered six teams so only by seconds were touching top 10 positions.
Also mention that it came in front of teams like CTOA (Madrid) or the Riverside Lugo both teams being much international level athletes in their ranks.
No doubt the Caravaca triathlon club members are very happy with the results and hope to continue getting good grades in the remainder of the season.
