Hospitality Association of Caravaca de la Cruz described as very positive results with the second Top Trail.
According to statistics by the hoteliers, the 12 participating restaurants and bars have sold more than 35,000 covers during the two month duration of this initiative, as reported today the Councillor for Tourism, Gonzalo López-Auguy, and the secretary of the Association Hospitality, Pedro Marín, who have advanced it is already preparing a third edition to take advantage of the influx of tourists being recorded during this Holy Year 2010.
To conclude the second Top Trail has entered into a drawing for trips between the participants.
José Luis Giménez has proved the winner of the trip to Rome for two people for four days donated by Bodegas Viña Elena, Pedro Javier Santillana a weekend getaway to Cuenca and Rafael Alfocea a weekend at the Gate of Moratalla.
During the closure of the Lane Cover, Councilman Gonzalo López-Auguy thanked the caterers effort being made during this Holy Year with the launch of initiatives such as the Pilgrim's Menu or Top Trail.
Also been reported to have been published 20,000 copies of leaflets that collect all the bars and restaurants of the town, and the network of museums and telephone numbers that are being distributed among all the tourists who come to the points of information.
