The Director General of Environmental Quality, Francisco Espejo, accompanied by the Councillor for Social and Environment, Carmen Ruiz and María Antonia Álvarez respectively, today opened a new shop-sign of the Asociación Proyecto Abraham in Caravaca de la Cruz.
This is the second store opens Abraham Project in the city and the fourth in the Region.
The opening of this store is one of the actions under the collaboration agreement signed between the city of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Association for Project Abraham socio-professional integration of people excluded or at risk of exclusion and waste management textiles.
President Abraham Project, Rafael Sanchez, explained during the opening ceremony that with the launch of this service is twofold social and environmental, because it gets the job creation between groups of employability and avoids difficult the discharge of materials that can be reused.
For three years the Association Abraham Project, under an agreement with the Consistory caravaqueño, the municipality has developed various initiatives to support the immigrant population and persons at risk and / or social exclusion.
In addition to the opening of two stores trace and focus socio-cultural, have been held literacy classes, sewing and shoe repair and awareness workshops aimed at schoolchildren on environmental and social values.
