The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, held a meeting with students of institutes and Oróspeda Gines Perez Chirinos Archivel which are involved in the project Empresa Joven Europea (EJE) to see first hand the experience of these young people.
During the visit, students were projects minicooperativas building and entrepreneurs discussed their concerns.
The European Young Enterprise initiative, supported by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research through the Institute of Development and in keeping with planning to undertake, is to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance and leadership skills from an early age.
In addition, HUB provides students with opportunities for knowledge and contact with institutions, organizations and businesses in the local area.
Students have created mini-businesses which operate within a national and international level through trade relations with similar firms incorporated in other schools in Spain and other countries.
Thus they exchanged product catalog, orders and trading exporting and importing goods, which are then responsible for marketing in the local market.
A total of 27 schools in the Region of Murcia are participating in the pilot project European company to test the feasibility of incorporating this subject and teaching tool in the curriculum for compulsory.
